When Fire-Breathing Bartenders Are Outlawed...

Cirrito said an investigator told him that the marshals received a letter in the mail with a photo taken of a previous performance at the bar. [More]
See what a wonderful society we can build if we encourage a snitch culture?

I wonder if the rat is a competitor?

Been doing this for a dozen years or so, no problem, now big problem...appears the owner did not send the plain envelope to the right tax eater last month.

I'd say the statist collaborator was either a competitor or a thug cop deciding to make his bones on a citizen; or both.

This is why thug cops can't be tolerated at any level in our society.

Fire marshals with no sense of proportion.
That's Herndon, Northern Virginia, a suburb of the District of Corruption.
I wasn't going to mention the Virginia fire captain who is charged with 11 felonies for drunken boating. His blood alcohol was twice the limit to be considered legally drunk. He hit another boat at 35 miles per hour, killing a young woman and severely injuring others. I forgot how much authority the OTHER 911 people have.
Tavern patrons just LET these entertainers be taken away?
Tick tock ...BBBBRRRRRIIIINNNGGGG!

I have emailed the CEO of the Fairfax County tourism and visitors bureau to make sure he is aware of this latest incidence of fascism, and I used that word, too.
I'll pass on any response here.
Fire-eating dates back to pre-history. It's done at resorts all over the world, including the Hawaiian Village luaus at Disney World, for cryin' out loud.
Uh oh. It just occurred to me: we don't know what these fellows' feelings on guns where alcohol is served might be. I'd only feel a LITTLE better about it if they were like that O'Charley's bartender who promised to put anyone seen with a gun face down on the pavement. A bogus charge is a bogus charge, and becoming a trend.

From the Fairfax County Fire Department mission statement:
"Integrity
We understand the trust placed in us by the public and our colleagues is integral to the performance of our duties. We are committed to honest and ethical behavior, and we will hold ourselves accountable to these values."
But they all say that.

Damn! Now we can't even breathe fire anymore!

I wonder whether the tavern OWNER has any say in whether the two who were ONLY DOING THEIR JOBS are prosecuted, or is the word of a "concerned citizen" enough to get PEOPLE WHO HAVE HURT NO ONE removed from society? We've seen THAT before.

Snitch culture: Two hunters charged a total of $7,750 for poaching ONE of the king's deer.

http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/7401

And Ted Nugent was charged with ELEVEN violations for shooting ONE deer over bait for his TV show.

I think they got the idea from the War on Drugs, in which one can be charged for ONE instance with possession, CONSPIRACY to possess, MANUFACTURING (for transfering the substance from one CONTAINER to another), distribution (if anyone else even HELD it for you for a minute)...
Remember Ken Olofson. Loaning someone a rifle with a worn sear which doubled at a range AND SOMEONE CALLED THE AUTHORITIES was enough to put him in the stripey hole.
