Left Behind

One of those mothers is Mildred Carrion, whose 17-year-old son, Roberto, was fatally shot in the head last year as he and a group of teenagers played with a gun she didn't even know he possessed. [More]
God forbid knowledge should be a factor in this. I guess the answer is to disarm you and me.

Anybody know if New Jersey has tried "gun control"? Because that seems to be where Bruce Lowry is going with this, and he must be better informed than we are, because he writes for a newspaper and everything...

People who are part of the gun culture can still have negligent discharges, but if one knows and observes any of the other gun safety rules, no one is hurt.
The problem Lowry ignores is that in New Jersey, guns are considered COUNTERculture.
I like his admission that guns are easily obtained through unofficial channels. So much for closing the gun shops and using the no-fly list for preventing people from acquiring them, and urging or requiring people to turn guns in, etc., etc.

Not one word there, of course, about how many of the people died simply because they had no way to defend themselves. And not a word about how many people who DID have a gun were NOT killed because they had one.

His anti-gun, disarm the victims agenda is simply much more important than the truth. Typical "authorized journalist" BS.
