No organization does more to protect our right to keep and bear arms than the National Rifle Association, and when you go against the NRA, you get thumped. Just ask Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. [More]Yeah, and while you're at it, ask him about that $5K the Fairfax manly men thumped into his campaign treasury, and why they refuse to man up and and endorse Sharron Angle.
What is it with "conservatives" lately..."
The Washington Times, Terry Jeffrey, Chris Ruddy...
I take it back. I know better than that. It's not just "lately."

The Washington Times usually has it right, that I have seen. How could they miss the point that the helpless hostages at the Discovery Channel -- like helpless hostages everywhere -- were obeying existing gun laws just like the NRA says we should? J.J. Lee ("Hi, I'll be your abductor and possibly executioner this morning") wasn't.
The late Bill Buckley, Jr.; a mainlining Neocon, hated guns all his life, for us, that's despite the fact that he had a concealed carry permit in New York City.
At some not so distant future date, I expect to see Conservatives on lists of leftist gun confiscators.
Let's start now.
Having not endorsed Dingy Harry, nra wees its pants worrying he will prevail in Nov rather than putting some muscle behind his opponent.
Likes our rights got thumped by the NRA when it helped write all those gun laws in 1934, 1968,1986,1994? The only thing they protect is their rice bowl.
Never thought I'd be asking the NRA to explain what part of "shall not be infringed" do you not understand?
