Unfortunately, this incident will only prove to the ruling elite that a total ban is the only thing that will work. The killer had jumped through all the government hoops to legally own his guns.

The government may be "sensitive" to more restrictions, but ultimately, they cannot stay where they are, and they WILL not do the right thing, and allow their subjects guns with which to defend themselves. In fact, self-defense itself is outlawed there.

As strict as their laws are now, the only choice Parliament will make is to ban all guns from formerly Great Britain, leaving only the military, and the police in possession of guns. Oh, and the criminals, who laugh at all the bans anyway.

I've been having a discussion with a British subject. He says he's never heard of anyone killing 25 people in a school with a knife, so he won't be asking his government for the right to own guns anytime soon, but we barbarians can keep ours.
I reminded him that nine years ago Saturday a bunch of guys with knives killed 3,000 people who had nothing.
I urged himn to visit a cemetery and thank the dead American barbarian soldiers whose skill with small arms from a young age are the reason he's typing in English, not German.
