VA, ATF say no guns for Iraq war vet

How did such a state of affairs come to be?

The thanks you get for serving.
The computerization of all our medical records under Obamacare will put together a list of many more candidates for this kind of treatment. The ATF always interprets laws -- and makes some up -- to its own advantage. I'll live in a crate and eat out of dumpsters before I'll pawn or sell my guns.
Is it becoming obvious why Obama doesn't speak openly about taking our guns? He doesn't HAVE to get any new laws passed. Everything is in place. Thanks, NRA.

The timing of THIS is highly suspect:
SAVANNAH, Ga. - A former Army soldier seeking help for mental problems at a Georgia military hospital took three workers hostage at gunpoint Monday before authorities persuaded the gunman to surrender peacefully.
...

The gunman walked into the hospital's emergency room at about 4 a.m. Monday carrying four guns - two handguns, a semiautomatic rifle and a semiautomatic version of a submachine gun."
