Are there any other jobs that would do this -- pay their employee while they sit in jail?
Maybe, he can put in for some overtime, too.
Many organized crime families pay their employees while they are in prison. Why the law enforcement family be any different?
He looks a little like Officer Bubbles. Maybe his girlfriend "assaulted" him by holding out her palms to protect herself from his rage.
Possibly the man at the house was listening to her fears of Peterson.
