Plastic pellet incident at Va. school ends in expulsion, assault charges [More]Good grief.
And here's the measured adult who thinks this is appropriate because "We have an obligation to protect the students in our building from others who pose a threat to the over-all safe learning environment":
Rusty Davis.
I wonder if that's anything like a "Rusty Venture"?
And about this last link--you've been warned.

The one positive thing about this is the fact that this child is now home schooled. It is a good thing to get our kids out of the public indoctrination centers.
And yes, I think ol' Rusty is in the (Venture) club!
Wow, just wow. Thanks for the warning about the link. I don't watch that trash, masquerading as comedy. There are lots of funny things that don't involve either sex or pissing or crapping, but nobody seems to know how to do that anymore.
Spotsylvania High School's mission statement:
"In the spirit of working together, we will provide continuous opportunities and experiences through the provision of resources and guidance by paying attention to and showing appreciation for the individual in a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment to assist him reach his full potential."
But then, they always shovel it on like that.
I heard the incident described as "shooting modified spitballs."
A "weapon"?
Maybe anyone caught with paper clips and a rubber band at the same time should be expelled. The potential for mayhem cannot be ignored. Besides, according to the ATF, it could be a machine gun.
A straw magically becomes a "metal tube", and plastic airsoft pellets magically morph into "B-B's", which everyone knows are made of metal...the whole case reeks with nary a fact in the whole inquisition, but it's OK to lie since the end justifies the means (the progressive mantra). Well, at least now this kid knows how things work in the real world. Welcome to the police state.
I can vividly remember the poor nun in the parochial school I was compelled to attend who was horrified to discover that there was an outline of her body on the blackboard consisting of spitballs that had missed her turned back during a massive fusillade. The hits clung to her black habit. The paper-wrapped plastic straws used to drink milk provided both the weapon and the ammunition. All males in the class were searched for the possession of straws. None who kept and bore straws were suspended or expelled, much to our disappointment.
Today, those spitballs would probably be considered a biohazard with a summoning of the HazMat Team required.
Oh YEAH, educate the youngster by denying him an education for the rest of the year. Don't bother with respect, just teach him to fear. That'll make a good citizen out of him.

Theres another zero tolerance/zero intelligence case out there today from Philly:

7 year old arrested for bringing a nerf gun to school. Reminds me of that first grade boy who was suspended for sexual harrassment in Boston a few years ago. Public school = child abuse.
