We're the Only Ones Accountable Enough

I guess the mouthpiece gets his cut of the settlement, so he can say that.  But I don't see where the badged criminal who planted the gun either paid for anything out of his own pocket, let alone served any time for lying on police reports, perjuring himself, false incarceration--hell, call it what it is--kidnapping.

Sounds like he's enjoying a retirement with pension instead courtesy of the people who were held accountable.  And naturally:
The Oakland Police Department denies wrongdoing in the incident...
No surprise there.
