So basically you're admitting nothing you and your rules and your "Only Ones" and the illusions they provide can be relied on to protect people within your jurisdiction, and instead what we're likely to see in time of critical need is a total system failure?

Seems to me someone realizing and essentially articulating same would be culpable if they still insisted on preventing people from protecting themselves...
