Presentation of the awards will be made at the NRA convention in Pittsburgh, 29 April–1 May. [More]

This matter has shown the NRA in its true light. Oh buddy!
If and thats a very HUGE "if" the NRA is going to give you and Mike any kind of award for breaking Gun Walker. It will be behind the stage curtain with a fast handshake a rabbits foot keychain and a fast, "thanks for your help".
BTW/ you both will have to provide your own transportation, lodging and meals for the trip to Pittsburgh.
But do not cop an attitude. Just think of the bragging right you both will have showing off your luck rabbit's foot key chains at all the gun shows and events.
Note: I thought this humor was in order being the NRA has proved themselves to be a joke at standing up for the Second Amendment.

NRA isn't giving it, anon, SoF is--the event was scheduled before recipients were announced. Brown decides who he wants and they have no say. It will be telling if that changes, or if this will get derailed. Fingers crossed.
