A guy at work brought up that NYT article to me yesterday and asked me my opinion. He's based out of our NJ office but travels here a lot for the current project, having said that, he's a pretty staunch liberal (I don't know that I'd class him as Progressive, but he's borderline). Everyone around here knows my stance on firearms, but I think he was trying to bait me into contradicting myself. Anyway, after I read that article I gave him your line. This led to a pretty thorough conversation about what, exactly, that means. I think it's funny, but he keeps trying to bait me with things like this and so far he has been surprised by my answers... I guess he's still not used to getting logical responses.
Anyway, I now have this line posted on my cubicle.
