It doesn't matter what they call it, in this case, he may really be an exempt "Only One" on the basis of Constitutionally-required separation of powers:
The Senators and Representatives shall ...be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.
I'm not a lawyer, but it will be interesting to see if this is an issue. Reps have made such claims for much more far-fetched reasons...

I read this story this morning and just was stunned. The TSA has demonstrated that next to the ATF it is a rogue agency. I would not put it past them to have delivered a message to Sen. Paul or even his father. "Screw with us at hearings and we will get even." One can only imagine what will come next. Fear is what power monsters love.
If there is an agency that needs to simply go away, it is the TSA.

Oh yea, forgot to include the DHS too.
We already have the National Guard and Dept of Defense. There's absolutely no LEGITIMATE need for a DHS/TSA.

On the contrary, Craig S. Miller, there were PLENTY who were above the Gestapo. For example, EVERY ONE of their Masters. Just as today with this country's "Law Enforcement". But do not mistake a mere elected position as one of their Masters. They know very well who signs their paycheck. As well as who does not...
This stench is NOT merely TSA, but EVERY "Law Enforcement" officer in this country as well. Or do you imagine there were NO OTHER "Law Enforcement" officers in the area who saw what was being done? Yet how many of THEM actually bothered to honor THEIR oath of office?
Coming soon, people with arms deactivating the TSA one officer at a time.
The Consitution also says:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
That basically makes everything the TSA does unconstitutional, so it would be fair to say that the "constitutional crisis" aspect of the TSA has been going on from its beginning.
Or at least, it would be if the US Constitution actually had anything at all to do with the Evil Empire which has replaced the former United States of America.
