Some of us learned our moral lessons by example from those who went through true poverty in the Great Depression. They did not resort to victimizing others or living like filthy pigs because they were moral people with standards.
What an insult the "What gives?" assumption is to everyone who struggles to make ends meet--but does so with dignity.
