I dunno. The truth (whatever it is) is always an independent being, but I admit it's hard for me to get over the messenger* being an execrable attention-whore and the inspiration for the quite defensible epithet "Marikafka County".

To the extent any of this is and remains "Joe's show", the accusations of "side-show" posturing will remain distractingly plausible.

I hold Attkisson's work in much higher regard, by comparison. :-)
