Bullshit!
Any decently powerful rifle will easily penetrate any armor cops wear. Ballistic vests worn by law enforcement types are intended to stop pistol rounds, not rifle rounds. But then the best body armor the Army issues probably won't stop a .308 Win/7.62X51 at 400 yards.
But these mokes aren't interested in facts, only perception.
Yep, those restricitve gun laws did a good job of keeping those weapons out of his hands..... oh that's right, he bought them elsewhere and THEN illegally brought them into NYC. Daddy Bloomie is having a fit....
I seriously wants me some 9mm revolvers that fire 12 shots without reloading.
Overheard by a mouse in the press room:
Copy writer #1: The police report said it was a "12-bullet were fired from a 9mm pistol"
Junior editor #1: Let's see how we can spice this up a bit. The words "were fired' isn't very exciting. Let's call it a "barrage". And "pistol" doesn't sound very bad at all, does it? Let's use some other word for a "pistol".
Junior editor #2: Doesn't "revolver" mean the same thing as "pistol"? It sure sounds more terrifying, doesn't it?
Junior editor #1: So the phrase becomes "a 12-bullet barrage from a 9mm revolver." That's much better! Yeah, let's go with that.
