That's because dealing with real criminals instead of grifters and pot smokers could result in a career-ending injury or death and then the cowards behind the badge might not get home at the end of their shift. Real coppers are spinning in their graves about this and many other similar incidents. I guess the militia nedds to be called out to deal with the street gangs. Belt-fed weapons, anyone?
