'cause the guns don't have rights? And they are probably the same guns that "just go off" and unexpectedly kill the person to whom you were showing it.
"He showed a mini 14 which had been converted by common kits into an assault weapon.
Oh? Why can't I find these kits at the gun shows? You would think that because they are "common" they would be on every table.
“About 75 percent of our homicides involve firearms — every one of them being used illegally at the time of the murder and many being possessed illegally,” Beck said.
No shit. Even if it were a shovel or a hammer, if it is used to commit a murder, it is being used illegally.
Why did they blur out the selector of the "military version of the AR 15" at 1:37? Could it be because it isn't a full auto? If you look, there doesn't appear to be a hole for the pin where the auto sear is mounted. I bet this is a semiauto.
RobertFowler, as Bill Clinton famously said,"It depends on what the meaning of is is". A Mini-14 with an aftermarket stock and ventilated hand guard (closely resembling a barrel shroud- you know, "the thing that goes up") while offering no functional enhancement, miraculously becomes an ASSAULT WEAPON because some elected crook defined it that way. Kind regards,
