The boy has had his Peace Officer license suspended The indecent exposure rap - a class B misdemeanor - will cost hi his license for 10 years after which he'll have to go back and retake the licensing exam to have any chance to be a Peace Officer again. Aggravated assault is a felony. If that sticks he loses his license permanently - along with becoming a prohibited person for gun ownership. BTW, under Texas law he is free to own firearms 5 years after everything associated with the felony - jail time, parole, etc. - is finished. Of course the feds don't give a flying back flip about anything the states want so according to the feds he will NEVER be allowed to buy a gun for the remainder of his life.
guess the feds figure you NEVER repay your debt to society.
