Mexican Ambassador confirms early citizen journalist reports amidst media spin

The paper’s ostensibly “straight news report,” with its clear editorial political objectives, is made all the more curious by reviewing what is now ancient history in the “Project Gunwalker” timeline, specifically early reports from Gun Rights Examiner and Sipsey Street Irregulars that “The ATF office in Mexico was denied permission to share this information with their Mexican counterparts.” [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report shows what happens when public information gatekeepers act more like paid security deciding who's cool enough to be admitted to an exclusive private club. The LA Times is just now getting around to reporting on what Mike Vanderboegh and I told them about Gunwalker back in Jan. 2011. And significantly, their ambassador raises the possibility that the government's intent may not be what they claim.
