Sporting Purposes

Looks like they backed down on pistol grips and integrated rail systems. If anything, this further illustrates the absurd interference caused by enforcing GCA 68--like what they're still banning from importation will make a damn bit of difference to anything, except maybe to give domestic suppliers a competitive advantage. Can you imagine what the Founders would say about the federal government presuming to have the final authority on what constitutes private sector sport?  If anything, Mr. Jefferson did express a non-binding opinion...

So sports based on military training aren't sporting? Does this mean it's illegal to import biathalon rifles?

Very interesting, just found your blog. It is interesting to note our founding fathers weren't protecting our 'hunting rights' but rather our ability to defend ourselves from government which prompted a post I did a few days ago.

Does that mean that the Javelin Throw and possibly some other sports should be removed from the Olympics?
