Machete

See, if we had "common sense gun laws," this wouldn't even be an issue. [Read]

It shouldn't be, anyway, unless he starts misusing it.

And when Mitt puppets are banned...

What's the name of the "Only One" who thinks he can have a gun but the rest of us can't even have a stick?

Here is a flyer on what is prohibited in the RNC "Event Zone":

Florida has a weapons preemption law, so the Tampa City Council could not override weapons law set by the Florida Legislature.

If the non-officer had a Florida Concealed Weapons License then he could have carried a concealed pistol without intervention in that area. He would be stopped if he entered the area under Secret Service control.

If a kukri (traditional edged weapon of the Gurkha) is a machete, then so are Bowie knives, sabers, and claymores. And, where in the Constitution does one find a specific mention of firearms? Is Florida an open carry state or just concealed with a dog (CCL) license?

W3,
Florida is a "just concealed with a dog (CCL) license" state. You are allowed to open carry only when at work or going to/from hunting, fishing, camping or the target range, courtesy of lobbying by Florida AG Janet Reno when Florida adopted shall issue and concealed carry.
