Oregon lawmaker rebuffed on proposal to arm teachers

"In crisis situations there are a lot of very complex things happening all at once and you have to constantly train for deadly force incidents," Chief George asserted in top “Only Ones” form. Evidently 16 hours per year equates with "constantly." [More
Today's second Gun Rights Examiner report notes arrogance and deliberate indifference. Creepy how what that results in supports the gun-grabber agenda.

It's taken decades of Marxism/liberalism for our society to get to where we're at. It's going to take some time to unwind our present position.
If these sorts of school shootings had been happening when I was a kid, the school principal would likely have been openly carrying a .38, promptly, and probably a couple of the teachers too. They believed in protecting kids back then. These days the gun hating, left wing teachers' unions just want to get as many kids killed as possible to maximize the body count that advances their gun ban agenda, and they've gotten it into law because they'd rather see dead kids than armed teachers. These days, my former school principal, or any of the teachers, would be arrested and fired if they dared to carry a gun with which to protect the kids. The commie libs want their body count and they mean to get it - over the kids' dead bodies, and they run the show, so that’s how it is, these days. We need to change that.

In my experience, RKBA and 2A are best preserved when comments such as the above are made from a more adult, mature, and non-divisive position.

I happen to have many friends who are liberals, teachers, pro-union, there's even a couple of Marxists in there--and strongly pro-All-Ten-Rights.

Those who wish to politicize these rights to further a political agenda are, in my view, Stalinists and communists. They cannot discuss an issue quietly, rationally, and from facts. They can only leap to the weaknesses of the ideological mind. And in my view the Bill of Rights deserves far more informed, logical, rational, disciplined, and mature thinking.

Shame.
