Not to mention that some colonists (Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys, say) had those newfangled Kentucky Rifles, which were a whole lot more accurate than those smoothbore muskets.

Was thinking the same thing . The "civilians" had better arms than the military . I think we have some catching up to do
