Whenever the local fraternal order of police calls me asking for a handout, I ask whether they're still enforcing the war on some drugs. Then I tell them to call back once they've stopped. Maybe it's time to change that question to whether they're enforcing New York's plethora of infringements on the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Call back once you've stopped enforcing any infringement whatsoever.
Is that breath holding why the call them "the boys in blue"?
