Apparently the fat bald officer (Officer Tobler) with the Sidney, Nebraska PD hasn’t gotten the memo. First he threatens the citizen, Steven Bell, with arrest, then he throws Bell’s license and registration at him, and then he really flips out. [More]Looks like some punk thugs over at Police One haven't gotten the memo, either.

Some comments from Police One:
@ tpdid7851 - Don't know what the law is where you are, but here presenting the insurance card is mandatory. The driver (Bell) was operating the vehicle, in my state that means that he can not refuse to provide a DL and insurance card. Failure to provide a DL is an immediate arrest; no insurance card is also arrestable but is usually just a citation.
We can also arrest someone for spitting on the sidewalk or standing on the sidewalk and not walking.
REMEMBER THE OLD DAYS WHEN YOU WOULD DRAG HIS ASS OUT OF THE CAR AND BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF HIM AND THEN BOOK HIM FOR DRUNK IN PUBLIC BECAUSE HE HAD TO BE DRUNK TO TALK TO YOU LIKE THAT?
"""""" Yep, in the good old days a wood shampoo would have been administered, throw in a discon after the trip to the ER.""""""
Officer was fine and within the law until he started cursing. I would be stopping someone circling my crime scene too. I would be more worried if he hadn't. This guy is looking to sue someone for a misdeed or word probably to make up all the money he is not getting because he can't find a job because of what he is...a child abusing felon. The wife/girlfriend is just as bad. Book em' Dano.
So- these JB Thugs like that they can arrest someone for standing on the sidewalk, pine for the olden days when they could just beat the living shit outta someone for "disrespecting" them, and believe a guy who was arrested for child abuse, and had the charges tossed two days later, is essentially a "felon."
No doubt the victim here has been previously victimized, and now can't find a job. I noticed that his wife is suing the local PD for removing her children after the bogus arrest.
Look like oath-breakers reign on Police One.
