Seems that LEO's responding to a 911 cal expect hugs and flowers.
This lawsuit illustrates the fact that people have to look out for themselves, and they've just learned that dialing 911 only brings in a hostile response by a frightened JBT, who will shoot a poodle if he's too "frightened," but will sue your ass off if he doesn't get to taze, beat or shoot someone without any harm whatsoever befalling him.
So - If the LEO is actually assaulted by the assailant who was the cause of the 911 call, the LEO will sue the caller. If you deal with the problem yourself, you're a "vigilante."
