A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

How are guns being used by citizens in America each year? [More]
Interesting infographic. I have not had, nor will I have, time to verify all the claims, but it appears copiously footnoted to credible sources, and it makes intuitive sense.

Skimming through the sources, there are four citations from government entities (probably fairly reliable), five citations to four different peer-reviewed scholarly articles (probably accurate, though it heavily cites works by Gary Kleck et al.), and four independent survey/statistics pages (unknown reliability). The remainder are news/journalism pieces, which would reflect the views of the authors, though they may use some of the same sources.

Take everything with a grain of salt, but on the surface it looks legit. Well-sourced, as you say.
