Connecticut gubernatorial race dividing gun owners to glee of 'progressives'

The Courant and other outlets have so far not seen fit to publish the photos. Neither has this column, copied on that email, as evidenced by the screenshot accompanying this article. While my motives are based on not wanting to cause personal destruction to someone who should and could be an ally in advancing the right to keep and bear arms, there can be little doubt many of the media outlets, which wouldn't hesitate to run such photos of a non-“progressive” candidate were this a two-man race, feel little inclination to buck a strategy of the man they do back. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column notes there may be motives at play besides a sense of decency for treating a spoiler candidate with kid gloves.  Where Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists are concerned, you can bet on it.

this is typical of the libertarian vs conservative branches of the political spectrum.. what needs to happen is that both sides need to come together, be philsophical, and realize its not a perfect world... and then rally around the one who has the best chance at defeating the socialist gun grabber... but unfortunately, that would be the intellectially deep behavior. We have too many "cut off your nose to spite your face" gunnies.. too bad, and it will be our downfall.. over and over (definition of insanity?)
