Too bad it looks like this is going to come to a head by requiring some to put it all on the line--no doubt many of the same ones who have been doing the work to resolve things by less terrible means.  If it does, it will be as much on the heads of the lazy and apathetic as it is on the enemy who gauged a lack of commitment and deemed it safe to press "forward."
