Reprioritizing Tony

After multiple requests for comment were ignored, Yellowhammer was contacted Wednesday by ALDOT spokesperson Tony Harris, who said readdressing the policy is not currently a priority for the agency, although he acknowledged they had received some public opposition to the gun free zones.
“We don’t want this to be a distraction for us,” said Harris. “You can probably imagine we have a lot of issues we deal with day in and day out.” [More]
Their media guy never called me back.  No surprise -- you can kind of tell when they're hiding. Guess he didn't want to be distracted.

I guess Tony here can't  imagine this isn't going away, and it's going to get a lot more visible and vocal.  You can contact this arrogant bureaucrat at harrist@dot.state.al.us to let him know he and those he shills for are well on their way to Streisand-Effecting this into becoming a real priority issue for ALDOT.
