I wonder how the "real man" in the photo would defend himself or his family against an attack by a larger opponent or one with a knife or club. How about multiple attackers? I spent over 30 years as a cop and I know from experience that the more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens, the better it is for society. Hell, I guess he could always hit the attackers with his sign.
I am the only one to determine what I need or want. That is one of my abilities.
Naw, he'd get down on his knees like the serf he is and beg for his life.
