If I were a heavily armed homicidal maniac, that jerk would be my first target.

And now, in the People's Demokratik Republik of Kollyvornia, where concealed carry is when Hell freezes over, and open carry is outright verboten, Obama's anti-gun shock troops have committed another mass murder. San Bernardino County, a shooter or shooters have murdered at least 12, injured scores. Unknown type of rifle(s). NRA and gun owners to be labeled terrorists again.

The 'heavily armed' SWAT teams arrive too late, to find that people have once again died and been wounded purely and simply due to lack of shooting back ...

Oh - and, Professor, an 'active shooter' would simply step over your gut shot body as you bled out ... then continue on unhindered.

It appears that you did not properly research the matter to find the evidence, and did not cite your sources of information or the identities of your "most knowledgeable professional groups". So, in the interest of fairness, let me restate that:

"There is evidence that allowing the carrying of guns on our campus will make the campus safer, and the most knowledgeable professional groups believe that guns will make campuses more safe."

That is just as valid.
