I wouldn't mind seeing a Republican presidential candidate weigh in to defuse the Malheur situation by pledging clemency for the Hammonds, no charges for the occupiers and a public review process and panel, tasked with identifying needed reforms, to include leaders in the rancher rights movement, Constitutional scholars and the like.
