Some documents have been received now, reams of 'em, and perhaps there's a flood-'em-with-accumulated-ordure strategy in that as well.
Anyway, if you're interested in how ATF makes decisions on who it's going to inflict itself on -- and especially if they treat everyone the same -- just wading through all this stuff and trying to make sense of it will give you some idea of how to BEGIN trying to find out.
This is what searchable databases were made for. As opposed to using them to single out gun owners.
Everyone realizes the work it's going to take to make something useful out of this, and that nobody's doing it because it's lucrative...? On a scale of the labors of Hercules on one end and typing "Molon Labe!" comments under blog posts on the other, this one rates on the hard end.
I hope people understand what's going on here -- and why -- enough to appreciate it. Some of the people doing important work aren't always the ones everybody else is rewording stories about.
