In late August 2006, Portland police assigned a child abuse detective to investigate the anonymous complaints that Marshman had thrown his stepson into a wall, causing injuries in an encounter four years earlier. Hey, it's not like Lautenberg or any other laws apply to connected police officials or anything. And since that's the case, who needs the allegation letter, especially since we were unable to ID who sent it for intimidation and harassment...?
