Luceee, You Got Some 'Splainin' To Do....

What Did Springfield Armory and Rock River Arms Know and When Did They Know It? [More]
It does not look good.

By the way, this is a good job of discovering/pulling threads and digging into things. I like to see that.

Too many do very little original reporting and mostly focus on rewording stories broken by others.

Some on our side refuse to believe SA/RRA knew anything about what IFMA was doing, when that was proven false

They are saying now that they didn't know...

"Aw shucks, really? Hell, I was lookin' the other way..."

Wouldn't surprise me if the "didn't know" was true - but averting one's eyes to avoid learning the truth in this political climate is BS.

However, I truly wonder how many of the people now bitching about RRA & SA don't do crap for gun rights, other than maybe being an NRA member - if that.

Here in AZ, the Arizona Citizens Defense League has only around 2000 members, and yet, AZCDL and its handful of members are responsible for most of the pro-rights laws passed the last few years in AZ. http://www.azcdl.org/html/accomplishments.html

So few do the heavy lifting. Sorry folks, but "activism" like not buying a RRA product is just keyboard commando posing horsecrap.

I see posts often on WOG from state-run gun rights organizations asking for help. How many of the "activists" who now won't buy that new SA gun can't even be bothered to follow a link and send the pre-prepared letters for their own state - much less join?

How many Illinois gun owners didn't do squat about this issue, and are now bitching because some scumbag lobbyist also took "no position?"

Ned, if you are willing to give your business to someone who has betrayed you, that is certainly your right. Condemning others who refuse to do so is cheap. The fact that the treasurer of any organization has to apporve expensditures removes the excuse that Larsen didn't know what was going on. As I commented at TTAG, if it had simply been ignorance, RRA and SA would have not tried to avoid meeting with or speaking to Boch. And Keller would _not_ have written "No Position". If he had gotten a wild hair up his backside, he would have gone either for or against, but not "No Position". That had to have been at the direction of RRA and SA.

The fact that one of the principles eventually spoke with Boch over the phone still smells to me. Not being willing to meet with him probably means he didn't want to look him in the eye while spinning his tale.

So it appears that SA and RRA sold out for thirty pieces of silver. I certainly wouldn't do business with them, just as I will never do business with S&W after they screwed us non-LEO/non-military gun owners in years gone by.

Wow, Reg. Did you actually even read my comment?
