We're the Only Ones Recordable Enough

A First Amendment right to record the police [More]
I once had an"Only One" in California threaten to arrest me, even though I had the recorder in plain sight -- a sergeant, who you'd think would know the law. And that was a few years after the Ninth Circuit had weighed in on it, meaning he was either an incompetent or a lying thug trying to illegally coerce me, and quite possibly both.

But the LEOs still get Qualified Immunity -- basically cops are too ignorant to be liable.

No excuse now moving forward.

I guess that's why police departments have a ceiling on an applicant's IQ. They want the department's defense attorney to be able to convince the judge that the officers were literally too stupid to know that they were breaking the law while violating the plaintiff's rights.
