It's past time. [More]

A priest was assaulted in an area Catholic church.  The response was to have an "Only One" assigned to be present during Masses at all area churches. The "No Guns" signs remained. And of course, now that the danger's over (!!!) everything has returned to Conditon White.

As with all organizations, RHIP.

And plenty more mundanes where they came from...

Back when I was working armed security, I had a post at a big Catholic Church. I walked every hallway and aisle on the property except for the priest's house. At first it bothered me to stand under a representation of the Prince of Peace wearing a tool capable of delivering deadly force. Then I recalled the He himself at one point ordered his followers to arm themselves. I also remembered His umpty-ump great-grandpa is known as "the man after God's own heart" and yet the daughters of Jerusalem sang of him "Saul has slain his thousands and David his tens of thousands". I also knew the reason why I was there. It seems that some guys burst into the little chapel where parishioners were praying over the host and robbed them at gunpoint. I'm not Catholic but I still consider that to be an abomination!
