OTOH, if school officials encouraged students to engage in criminal behavior, the school officials (not California taxpayers) should share in the penalties for those crimes, eh?

This is America! She should have at least been hit by a semi. What are we, some third world country? Next thing you know, our protesters are going to be hit by bicyclists! After that, they'll be run over by pedestrians! Oh, the degradation!
Maybe she should sue the CHP for not removing her from the roadway before she was hit. California is an insane asylum that IS large enough to be its own country.
