Playing to the Gallery

The Virginia House of Delegates on Monday voted down a proposal to ban guns in the chamber's gallery while lawmakers are on the floor. The proposed change was defeated on a narrow, 48-49 vote along party lines with Republicans opposing the change and Democrats supporting it. [More]
Looks like Yancey cast the deciding vote.

Which means, due to Virginia gun owner apathy, it was dumb luck.
