It's Not About Guns


For the most part I agree with this guy.  [More]

I'd argue against "licensing the kid." I did not need the state to get into my business and authorize development-appropriate access.

But he does make some good points.

Dollars to donuts that the author doesn’t own a handgun and has only a foggy idea of what legalities are actually required, at least in most of the US outside places like Massachusetts.

Much like the “Bones” writing staff who had their characters determine who in a given neighborhood owned a 44-cal handgun by querying the “National Gun Permit Database.” Oy.
