Totally not a crisis actor, that David Hogg. For were Hogg an actor, he'd probably remember his lines by now.

I wonder what happens behind closed doors when they wander off narrative like that...

Sure it can be both. They believe all cops a bigoted murderers of minorities, and that only cops should have guns. They believe in LGBTQAAJDBSFBNF rights, and that Sharia Law is fine. They believe that Trump is a maniacal tyrant, and that we should give up our guns to his gov. They believe that there is nothing exceptional about America, and that tyranny can't happen here. And a host of other mutually exclusive ideas, so there's no reason Hogg can't have actually been in two places at once.
