'The Gun Sense Candidate'

Davis Stover was previously chief of staff for former representative Chet Edwards, a Texas Democrat who separated himself from his party when it came to gun rights. She took time away from his official office in 2010 to work on his reelection campaign, which was endorsed by the NRA. [More]
It's a proven winning strategy if the object is to increase power and screw over duped gun owners.

How many times have we seen this happen, and when will gun owners learn that in the final analysis there's no such thing as a "pro-gun Democrat," despite what Fairfax would have you believe?

Take Chet Edwards, for instance...

Remember "Handgun Control Inc."?

Apparently "gun control" wasn't getting the job done in molding public perceptions and opinions so it was eventually replaced by "gun safety". But for a number of reasons that was quickly replaced by "gun reform." I've barely gotten used to seeing "gun reform" and now, after an even shorter time in the public lexicon, the latest term is being replaced by "gun sense"?

I get it! While our heads are still spinning and we're weak from nausea they'll run in and snatch our guns!

Brilliant!

I told you they were working with The Underpants Gnomes!

“Gun sense” won’t last. Too easy to rhyme with “nun-sense.”
