Advertising Disclosure
This is a placeholder for now because I have not had ads on this blog for years. In case I ever start up again, this will be the policy in effect:
The FTC has some fool nonsense rules about ads on blogs or some such and presumes authority over the First Amendment to compel the unfunded mandate that we who earn ad revenues make some kind of disclosure so you don't think we're getting paid to say nice things about people or God knows what, meaning they must think you're stupid, too. I have had a few ads on this site in the past and may do so again if I think it's worth a try. Combined, I probably couldn't buy a box of good cigars each year, let alone a bottle of George T. Stagg, and that is somehow supposed to compromise my morality to force me to say nice things about products and services I don't mean simply in exchange for filthy lucre. If you believe that, leave now--you're not smart enough to be here. Bottom line, aside from welcoming a sponsor, I will do no posts related to their products or services, or reviews of what they offer.
About "The Only Ones"
The purpose of this feature has never been to bash cops. The only reason I do this is to amass a credible body of evidence to present when those who would deny our right to keep and bear arms use the argument that only government enforcers are professional and trained enough to do so safely and responsibly. And it's also used to illustrate when those of official status, rank or privilege, both in law enforcement and in some other government position, get special breaks not available to we commoners, particularly (but not exclusively) when they're involved in gun-related incidents.

Not for the gun-grabbing communists. They are already rubbing their hands in glee with another crime occurring that fits their Marxist agenda.
I have already heard on national fake news......”I’m a gun owner, I have been hunting since I was 10, we used to carry our guns down the middle of the street......... but if they would just outlaw semi automatic weapons..........problem solved ......no one says you can’t have guns.......but no one needs a semi auto gun.........

Funny but back in the old days when I joined the NRA kids took their guns to school on the bus, schools had rifle teams that practiced in the gym basement, you could buy guns mail order, and ammo was sold at 7-11.
Something has changed for sure but I don't think the NRA did the changing.
Another Joe Biden gun-free zone.
Scant attention given to the attempted shooting at a H.S. in Dixon IL. days ago.
Cop shot the perp in that one and not one was killed, not even the shooter. Quite the contrast.
Here are the problems in Amerika today, 2018, 21st Century:
1. Morals have changed.
2. The culture of society has changed.
As those of you frequently Mr. Codrea's blog know, inanimate objects do not kill. PEOPLE using said inanimate objects as weapons kill.
Of course, I am preaching to the choir.
CBS is reporting that the school was littered with pipe and pressure-cooker bombs, something we’ve heard often since way back to Columbine. Are we supposed to believe it is a coincidence that these objects somehow NEVER explode as planned? I wonder why? Have you heard about any successful school bombings recently? Me neither…
We need to ban revolvers and pump action shotguns, to save the children!
And raise the minimum age to touch a firearm to, maybe 35 years. If you're too young to run for President, you're too young to possess a gun!
Victory for the left. They made this happen with their celebration of the absence of the Second Amendment, their "gun free zones", and thus their government-sponsored, mass murder. They have their new body count, so let us weep and moan, and demand totalitarian Marxism? My bullets! You commie scum!
There is mention of "photos of a long dark jacket with Nazi symbols", but no mention that the same long dark jacket had a red star pin with a yellow hammer and sickle at the center on the right lapel. Uh, CBS, that is not a Nazi symbol. Also, the pictured Iron Cross ribbon existed for WWI service.
Actually, the NRA is culpable for much of the gun control of the 20th Century, with perhaps an exception made to the fed Assault Weapons Ban. This is why the JPFO and GOA came about. NRA was largely silent in the 30's during those laws passing, and quiet or impotent before the Supreme Court. Lastly, they advocated for the '68 Act and were weak on the Brady Act. And right now they're weak on the 'bump stock' matter.
