Does Scott want to set an example?
Of course, voters can MAKE him an example - this is what happens to traitors.
Scott is doing what he can in order to get Sen. Nelson's seat. Which, unfortunately, means stabbing the people of Florida in the back. He's almost gone Full Charlie Crist. Never go Full Charlie Crist...
So the GOP puts up their first credible candidate against anti-gun Democrat Bill Nelson and they pick anti-gun Rick Scott.
In the "Gunshine State" no less.
It's enough to make a grown man weep.
