Is it just me, or does anyone else see the outright insanity of a candidate for public office campaigning on a message that if you elect him, he won’t make the country any less crappy, but he willl help you escape to someplace else where you need no longer be governed by him?
Then it's also a human right for Guatemalans, Hondurans, residents of Belize and Venezuela to overrun Mexico and take up residence there.
If he wins the election, it's time to dust off my "Felipe de Jesús Calderón Immigration Act" and pass it into law this time. Except this time we can name it after Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
It's a rather simple law, inspired by Calderón telling Bill Clinton our immigration laws were racist, and by the way Dodd came up with the Gun Control Act: We get a copy of Mexico's immigration laws, translate them into English, pass them into law, and enforce them ruthlessly. Then our immigration laws can't be "racist", for they'll be exactly as fair and kind as Mexico's. Who could possibly object?
