Resolved

Southern Baptist "leadership" has been taken over by Opposite Day "progressive" useful idiots who will usher in a political majority that is hostile to Southern Christians. [More]

Naturally, they're also accomodating dumb-asses on guns who believe they can reach an agreeable consensus with those who hate everything they profess to stand for.

We could also have a  bit of principalities and powers action going on...

I was born into and raised Southern Baptist. While I didn't attend SB church for more that 30 years, I watched them slide into apostasy.

Six years ago I converted to the Greek Orthodox faith, a decision I've come to think is one of the best of my life, particularly spiritually.

SBC has, like NASCAR, completely abandoned its southern roots, one that my Charleston born paternal grandmother would have a hard time believing possible were she living today.

The plain fact of the matter is that the Southern Baptist Convention isn't Christian at all.
