Me, I haven't given up on Hanlon's razor. He's never had a real job outside of being a public trough parasite, so he probably resents those capable of actually making it as private citizens, which explains the obsession with controlling them.
I hadn't realized he broke both thumbs in college, and my first thought was someone must have kicked him in the @$$.
