Story I read said they opened fire after the victim walked toward an officer with his hands by his waist. Funny, if I am standing or walking, my hands are normally by my waist.
You have to wonder how many contradicting orders the cops were yelling at the victim. Of course they have charged the victim with resisting arrest. Surprised he hasn't been charged because the cops shot themselves.
Isn't this indicative of the extreme danger we place our police in by forcing them to carry a handgun every day? Shouldn't we disarm all the police officers for their own safety? I mean, it would be a common sense gun safety measure, right?
