Well, Fremont now knows the answer to their question: no, Teslas are not suitable as police vehicles. But that won't stop Congress or the courts in mandating some equally lame vehicle for the public. As for "smart" guns - my "stupid" antique Smith and Wessons fire every time, despite the fact that one of them is going on 119 years old.
